For the first time, today, I tried the new "Red Eye" beverage at Second Cup. I think coffee corporations are starting to realize that all people really want is caffeine, so why not give them as much as humanly possible? Anyway, I had a Mocha Red Eye, which consisted of a type of coffee of my choice, a shot of espresso, and chocolate syrup mixed in. It didn't taste nearly as bad as I'd expected, and when I got home I had enough of a buzz going on that I (successfully) tackled the assembly of the new vacuum cleaner my mother purchased recently. It's green and matches our decor to an almost unsettling degree. However, it's clear on the side so you can see the dirt whizzing around inside, which is undeniably cool. It *almost* makes me want to vacuum...if only it wasn't so freakin' noisy.

We had an annoying number of people refuse coupons for FREE MOVIES today, so I created what I refer to as the "Pirate Strategy". Basically, this consists of me approaching a random person, hunching over slightly, furrowing my brow and exclaiming, "Arrrrr!! Would y'care for a free movie rental?"

I found this to be effective, generally because people appeared to be rather frightened. They'll take anything to get rid of Crazy Pirate Girl.

Nick, I hope this was satisfactory. I *really* have to go do laundry now. I have four Video Difference t-shirts, and they are all beyond dirty. In fact, I've taken dirty to a whole new realm that I'm sure even Christina Aguilera wouldn't care to explore.
